Some paragraphs are mine, some are heavily autocomplete-edited. The detector labels the whole document as AI. Is mixed writing impossible to prove?

Most detectors can’t do reliable paragraph-level attribution. They often output one overall score, so a few heavily edited sections can pull the whole document into “AI-written” territory.

Maintain version history and submit drafts when possible. If you must use autocomplete, limit it to final proofreading. For high-stakes writing, keep an “original draft” copy and a “final edited” copy so you can show what changed and why.
